Google celebrates the invention of bar code with a new doodle!
Google continues to showcase more doodles on their homepage.
The latest is a bar code image on Google.com which celebrates the invention of bar code.
Norman Woodland and Bernard Silver received the patent for this technology on October 7, 1952.
Google has been using doodles pretty frequently now. The most recent one was on October 2 when they had an image of Mahatma Gandhi to celebrate his birthday.
