Microsoft: Most Sidekick data recovered
Microsoft has announced that they have managed to recover most of the data of Sidekick users.
The company had admitted last week that the servers hosting the data had crashed and they had no backups.
They have been working all this week on recovering the data.
Microsoft had this to say on the new developments: “We are pleased to report that we have recovered most, if not all, customer data for those Sidekick customers whose data was affected by the recent outage.”
The company is now working on restoring the data back so that the users of Sidekick can get direct access to it on their devices.
