Barnes & Noble launches Nook eBook Reader
Barnes & Noble has officially launched their Kindle challenger named Nook.
Nook offers some innovative features compared to Amazon Kindle.
Users would get the ability to lend their owned books to friends who can read them out using an application on their mobile devices or even desktop computers.
Nook is powered by Google Android mobile platform. It comes with 2GB of internal storage.

The device is also capable of displaying photos and playing music files.
Barnes & Noble said that the device would go on sale sometime next month.
It has been priced at USD 259 which is the same as that of Amazon Kindle.
