Dot Gay Alliance wants a .gay domain name!

Dot Gay Alliance has been formed to demand the creation of a new top level domain .gay.

Dot Gay Alliance founder Joe Dolce spoke about this initiative: “The LGBT community has always supported itself and its causes–no one was there to help us. We’ve made amazing progress in the 40 years since Stonewall. Now in the digital era a .GAY top-level domain is a logical evolution in our history of self sustenance.”

DGA said that the profits generated from this initiative would be used to fight for equality for the LGBT community.

It remains to be seen if their demands are taken seriously by the domain name authorities.
