Nokia Apple Lawsuit might be related to multi-touch patents!
Market analyst Jason Grigsby has stated that one of the potential reasons behind the Nokia lawsuit against Apple could be the patents owned by Apple!
Nokia filed a lawsuit against Apple which claims that the iPhone is infringing upon around 10 of Nokia owned patents.
Nokia claims that every iPhone sold in the market till now is infringing.
Grigsby stated that Nokia might be using this lawsuit to get Apple to share their multi-touch patents with them.
A cross-licensing deal could be announced in the future if Apple is found guilty of infringing upon Nokia patents.
Multi-touch has become a powerful technology to make smartphones more user friendly. Apple owns some patents related to this which they use heavily in their iPhone device.
