Apple TV 3.0 firmware update expected to arrive soon
Apple is likely to release a major update to their Apple TV product in the coming months.
References to this firmware have been found in the new Apple iTunes Store Terms and Conditions.
This new update is likely to add support for iTunes LP and iTunes Extras on Apple TV.
Apple TV is largely an ignored product from Apple. There are few software updates. Hardware revisions have been rare as well.
It remains to be seen if Apple would launch a new updated Apple TV with the release of this new firmware as they usually do with software updates (Apple iPhone for example).
