Rumor: Droid Eris to sell for USD 99
Market sources claim that HTC Droid Eris is likely to be launched later this month for just around USD 99 after mail-in rebates.
This would make it a fantastic purchase as it is similar in features to HTC Hero which retails for around USD 180 in the US market.
This new Google Android powered smartphone is likely to feature a 528MHz Qualcomm processor along with a 320×480 display.
It would come loaded with Google Android 1.5 which is older now compared to the specifications of Motorola Droid.
Of course, it would feature the HTC Sense user interface which is pretty good-looking.
