Baidu.com to send music related queries to Qtrax
Good news for the music labels in the Chinese market.
Baidu.com is the most popular search engine in China and they are collaborating with digital media store Qtrax.
Baidu.com said that music related queries on their search engines would be directed to relevant content available on Qtrax.
Qtrax is a legit music service and they have deals with all the major record labels.
Baidu.com said that this new feature would help the music industry by leading web users to legitimate media source instead of pirated ones as it is the case with general music related web searches.
Google too has launched a similar service in collaboration with several partners.
