China Unicom managed to sell 5,000 iPhones in first four days of launch
Apple iPhone launch in China was much awaited.
But it turned out to be a huge disappointment for China Unicom which managed to sell only around 5000 units in the first four days of availability.
It is not surprising however considering the high price of the iPhone being offered by China Unicom.
Apple iPhone has already been available in the market through stores which were smuggling them from overseas markets.
The official iPhone also has a major problem. Apple is offering it with Wi-Fi support disabled to meet the government regulations.
