Best Buy to offer free Google Apps installation on smartphones

Best Buy has announced that they are expanding their Walk Out Working in their stores.

Customers would now get the option to get Google mobile applications installed on their smartphones provided a compatible version is available.

Google provide their mobile applications for free but not everyone is comfortable with the idea of installing third party apps on their devices.

It might also cost a bit extra if the user is on a plan with limited data usage limits.

Best Buy said: “We know that consumers want smartphones and, increasingly, they want to use applications. The challenge is that people still need help understanding what is available to them and how they can bring it to life on their device.”
