Motorola Droid being promoted right on Google.com!
Motorola Droid has gone on sale in the US market and this new smartphone model is being promoted by Google right on their homepage in USA!
US based visitors to Google.com might see a single line advertisement for the Droid smartphone.
It states:
New! Droid is on sale now. Learn more.
It links to an internal page on the Google website that highlight the Google powered features of the Droid smartphone.
This internal page has links to Verizon websites for the Droid smartphone.
Google might be involved in the development of the Droid as they are behind the Android smartphone platform but this could be considered an advertisement for a Motorola branded product that is selling through Verizon.
Apple just cannot match this kind of marketing from Google!
