Rumor: Apple working on UMTS/CDMA iPhone
We have heard a couple of rumors about the next generation Apple iPhone.
The latest one is pretty interesting.
Industry sources say that Apple is working on a hybrid iPhone that would feature support for both GSM and CDMA networks!
The aim is to have a single device that can be offered in any market in the world and that works on both the popular networks.
This hybrid edition would support Verizon Wireless network in the US market and 2010 could be the year when AT&T would lose its exclusive rights to sell the iPhone in USA.
