Google Caffeine search engine is ready for prime-time!
Google had launched a sandbox search engine which enabled web users to test out their brand new search engine that was being developed.
It was codenamed Caffeine. Apparently, Google Caffeine edition is ready for prime-time as they have closed down the sandbox.
The Google Caffeine sandbox page has this message for the visitors:
Based on the success we’ve seen, we believe Caffeine is ready for a larger audience. Soon we will activate Caffeine more widely, beginning with one data center. This sandbox is no longer necessary and has been retired, but we appreciate the testing and positive input that webmasters and publishers have given.
It remains to be seen when this new engine would power all the searches conducted on Google Search.
