Craig Newmark joins the advisory board at Wikimedia
Wikimedia is the nonprofit group that manages and operates the popular online service Wikipedia.
Wikimedia has announced that Craig Newmark is joining their advisory board.
Craig Newmark is a well known personality on the web. He is the man behind the popular classifieds service Craigslist.
Wikimedia said that they picked up Newmark to join them because of his experience in the web market and understanding of the web communities.
Mitch Kapor and Roger McNamee two other well known members of this board.
