Google Profiles can now be used as OpenIDs
Google engineer Brad Fitzpatrick has just revealed that they have updated Google Profiles and it is now compatible with OpenID architecture.
Users can now sign-in into any website with their Google Account which accepts OpenID authentication.
OpenID project is designed to provide a common login to multiple services preventing the need to register with new services all the time.
This same concept is used by new services like Facebook Connect, Google Friend Connect and other platforms.
