KT set to launch Apple iPhone in South Korea
KT is all set to launch the iconic Apple iPhone smartphone in the South Korean market.
The company has already received more than 50,000 pre-orders for the iPhone.
This is a tough market for Apple to enter considering it is largely dominated by local manufacturers Samsung and LG.
Samsung is already one of the biggest mobile phone company in the world and they have some great devices on offer in the market.
South Korea is one of the most advanced mobile markets in the world. Mobile broadband networks are fast and more than 90 percent of people own a mobile device.
KT spoke about their plans with the iPhone: “The iPhone has been enjoying great enthusiasm from South Korean customers even before its official launch. We hope the iPhone will strengthen our competitiveness against other mobile carriers.”
