Lenovo IdeaPad U1 is a laptop and a tablet PC
Lenovo recently showcased a hybrid portable machine that works as a laptop and a tablet pc.
It looks like a regular notebook. The difference is the detachable screen which has its own computing brain.
The notebook is powered with a Intel Core2 Duo processor and it would run on Windows 7 operating system.

The display has its own ARM processor and the tablet runs a customized Linux edition named Skylight.
This model is likely to go on sale in the US market first with an estimated price tag of around USD 1000.
