Verizon Droid has a security flaw that provides access to phone data
Verizon Droid has a confirmed security bug. The device comes powered with Google Android 2.0.1 edition.
If the phone is locked, you generally require to use a pattern to unlock the device.
However, on Verizon Droid… You can bypass the need to use this unlock by simply pressing the back button. This only works if you received a call on the device.
The phone data remains accessible as long as the call is active.
Google has confirmed this bug and stated that they are working on delivering a patch for this problem on the Droid smartphone.
