Rolls Royce Motor Cars launches Phantom in India
One of the world’s most famous marquees is back in India. Rolls Royce Motor Cars recently launched their new Phantom luxury vehicle in Mumbai. It is a return of the motoring legend after almost a gap of 50 years. Regional Director of the automobile company Colin Kelly was delighted with this entry of the famous brand name in one of its traditional markets.
The company is making the cars available through the official dealers of the BMW Group in India, the Navneet Motors. BMW now own the Rolls Royce brand name and Navneet Motors would be taking care of the customers of this luxury saloon. The new model is inspired by the traditional Phantoms, which dominated the scene in the early 20th century and comes with custom-developed aluminum space frame.
The car comes powered by a massive 6.75 liters V12 engine capable enough to drag the giant car from 0-100 KMpH in less than 6 seconds. Interestingly, the company has already had four confirmed order for this model, which costs around Rs. 4 crores. The company expects to sell eight cars this year.
