Microsoft set to launch a marketing campaign for Bing in Europe
Online sources indicate that Microsoft is working on a mega marketing campaign to promote their Bing search engine in the European markets.
The company would showcase Bing as a decision engine rather than a search engine.
Microsoft has been quoted as saying: “This is a big moment – we are taking out our slingshots and taking on Goliath.”
This campaign would last for around three months and would feature ads made by JWT.
The company added: “People feel overawed by the internet and what they turn up when they are searching. We are also in a world where people have forgotten there is an alternative search engine.”
