Symbian^3 might be delayed
Engadget is reporting that Nokia has delayed the launch of their new updated mobile platform Symbian^3.
Symbian^3 is Nokia’s response to the growing competition from rival platforms like Apple iPhone and Google Android.
Touchscreen phones are gaining more popularity and these devices require an optimized mobile platform designed for touch capabilities.
Nokia has been trying with making updates to their Symbian platform but more is needed.
Symbian^3 was to change all that but the delay in its launch is expected to hurt Nokia a lot especially in the European markets.
