All medium duty trucks should be Chevrolet. As it is now you have GMC competing with Chevrolet over the same vechile. Maybe its time to go back to the basic chevrolet-Ford. Cadillac- Lincoln Mercury. Buick- Chrysler. Ditch Pontiac and Saturn. Keep ummer as a defenece contract? Aslo pruduce fewer models in each division. Ie: have a large, medium, compact, sports car, and of course the Corvette. This could be coupled with a hybred diesel-electic system. A move to virtually ALL diesel engines could solve our energy dependance on foreign oil, be better for the enviroment, creat hundreds of thousands of new high paying jobs and help strengthen our dollar and help our balance of payments deficit. If the country then moved to bio-diesel, we could be totally energy self sufficient, it would create even more permanent high paying jobs and be a boon to the farming industry and its suppliers.
