Complexities over how to teach evolution in US Schools
US state of Kansas is facing tensions over how children should be taught the concepts of evolution. The subject has already led to science groups boycott series of hearings being held in Kansas where debate rages as to how the subject is handled in the classroom.
Darwinists who are rigged against evolution refuses to testify at the trial-like hearings. The latest decisions by the education planners require that Charles Darwin’s theory be both taught and challenged in schools. This is being challenged by the Religious conservatives who claim that such theories are biased against the argument that God created the universe.
They call their movement ’intelligent design’ and claims that the universe is so complex and advance that a supernatural power is behind the creation and evolution of it. This has led to a debate on the lines of a trial inviting both sides to put forward their cases. However, science groups are holding daily news conferences instead of taking part in the four-day event.
The problem arose when most references to evolution were deleted from the Kansas curriculum in 1999. Later on, the changes were reverted to include the theory as a key education concept. The new standards are expected to be adopted in June this year.

Both the Bible and evolution are in concordance generally.
The apparent discrepancies and disagreements are due to
lack of detailed information from both sides that does
not currently exist; and may never exist sufficiently
to explain the differences. Knowing these two fundamental
views of reality and understanding that they can be in
disagreement is part of excercising adult thinking.
This is a non issue for anyone who can think.
