Google launches Priority Inbox on Gmail
Google has launched a major new feature on their Gmail webmail service.
They call it Priority Inbox and it does what it states.
The service keeps an eye on how you use your inbox and displays the most important mails in your Inbox in this new section.
The basic concept is to let you access the most important mails in one go if you find yourself in a messy mail box.
The company said:
As messages come in, Gmail automatically flags some of them as important. Gmail uses a variety of signals to predict which messages are important, including the people you email most (if you email Bob a lot, a message from Bob is probably important) and which messages you open and reply to (these are likely more important than the ones you skip over).
The feature is being rolled out slowly to all Gmail and Google Apps users in the coming days.
