Detroit was led by G.M as it had adverts logos and T-shirts dedicated by it. But as soon as Toyota joined G.M got a tough competitor that over took it. Now because of the economic resscsion Detroit is decling and toyota is building a new plant in North Mississippi. This move may be because of the Economic rescion which is causing Toyota to lose its profits. The rising prices of parts,the US governmet is not offering help to GM, Toyota and Ford. The car industry has become small and does not employees few people. Recently 70,000 jobs have been cut from the car industry. The move was also aided when Toyota got an incentive package to move.
