Amazon Kindle could become free for Amazon Prime subscribers by year end
Industry analysts expect Amazon to offer a free unit of their Kindle eBook reader to the subscribers of their Amazon Prime package.
Amazon Prime costs USD 79 per year and brings tons of goodies related to Amazon services.
The Kindle has been seeing a major cut in prices ever since it was launched a couple of years ago. Amazon has worked hard on making it affordable for the masses.
Free could be the next target for Amazon as they would still generate profits from the sales of eBooks and subscriptions.
The company could even take a safer way out by allowing customers to buy eBooks worth a certain price limit and offering them a free Kindle.
