Google starts sending Google Music Beta invites to applicants
Google has apparently started sending Google Music Beta invites to the people who applied for it.
The company had previously started delivering the invites on a priority basis to the owners of Motorola Xoom Tablet PC.
Google Music Beta is being offered as a free trial service. The company is offering storage space for 20,000 songs that can be streamed to any device with internet connectivity.
Android devices get an optimized player that caches frequently accessed songs for smoother playback.
The service is currently applicable to users in the US market. Google has not commented on when it would go international.
