Ford has money in offer for employees bringing in business
In order to boost sales and employee morale, the US Auto Giant Ford has announced a scheme for their workers and retirees where they are paid for bringing in business to the company. The company has on offer up to USD 1000 if workers get their friends or relatives to buy Ford Cars under special employee discount schemes.
This is a step to compete with the offerings General Motors is providing to their workers to boost their morale in the market in a situation where the Japanese Auto Giants Toyota and Honda are slamming them hard in the market. GM also announced a similar discount packages for their employees earlier this month.
Ford would be offering discounts worth $50 for the first sale they sponsor, $75 for the second, $100 for the third, $150 for the following four sales and $175 for the eighth. The reason is simple, the company says: “If every employee and retiree helps sell just one more vehicle, it would account for over 300,000 sales and an additional two points of market shareâ€.
