General Motors planning new models for Indian Market
General Motors is struggling in its domestic market United States but is planning to unleash a number of new models in the coming days in the Indian market. The company has planned as many as five models in the next 2 years and has already started to raise the production capacities from 60,000 to 80,000 units per annum at their Halol plant.
The new GMIL president and MD Rajeev Chaba announced these plans in a recent conversation with media personals. He also claimed that the company has spent most of the Rs 1400 crore expansion kitty already and is looking forward to exciting times in the Indian auto industry.
The expansion plans in their production facility included updates to their plastic paint shop, the assembly body shop, and some utilities. The company would now be focusing towards launching at least two new products every year from now on. This might include some of the luxury car models as they have seen the success of brands like Mercedes and BMW in the Indian market.
For the time being, the launches are expected to come under the prevailing Opel and Chevrolet branding. The company’s image in the Indian market has improved quite a lot ever since they launched some exciting products under the famous Chevy brand.

Doesn’t that sort of defeat logic? Maybe it tells you it’s time to overhaul your roads, rather than raising normal cars ground clearances to levels which would make any self-respecting tractor blush?

I already purches SPARK LS last seven month ago and i am not comfort with the car for space.Arrenge to exchange with U VA.
