Kinetic Motors launches Italjet products in India
Two-wheeler Company Kinetic Motors has collaborated with the Italian scooter maker to launch the Italjet range of auto products in the Indian market. The company faces intense competition locally from the other automakers like Honda and Bajaj in the scooter market. Along with this impressive series of launch of the Italjet products, the company also decided to update their logo with a new look.
Kinetic Motors and Italjet has signed on an acquisition-cum-alliance deal. This gives Kinetic the right to manufacture and sell seven of their models in India and abroad. This range of seven models feature designs that have previously been bestsellers abroad and now come to India for the first time. They are Millennium, Formula, Velocifero, Euro, Dragster, Torpedo, and Jupiter. Kinetic is also in the process of opening up 45-50 new dealers in the top 30 cities in the country.
This new range consists of models ranging from classic, sporty radical to vintage retro designs with engine capacities ranging from 50 cc to 250 cc. this brings a radical change to the old fashioned boring designs of the prevailing scooters in the Indian market. The company would be bringing these products phase wise in the next couple of months with the first launch (Millennium) scheduled soon. The company is also planning to launch these products in the international market to make use of the rights they got with their agreement with Italjet.
Joint managing director of kinetic motors, Sulajja F Motwani said in a statement: “The company plans to sell 1 lakh units of mopeds and motorcycles this fiscal, and in scooters, 1.35 lakh units. It expects 20 per cent to 25 per cent growth in domestic sales.â€

What about plans for the sale of the dragster in the U.S.A I have a dragster 50 and now there are no resources for my scooter here in Chicago. Do you plan to export the scooters and parts to the U.S.A?
