Suzuki Motorcycle India to launch a 125 cc bike in India
Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd is the latest entry into the already crowded Indian two wheeler segment with players like Hero Honda, Bajaj Auto, Honda, and TVS. They are planning to start their Indian operations with a 125-cc mass-market motorcycle to be launch by this coming October. The company has made an initial investment of Rs. 200 crores to start their Indian operations.
Company sources have revealed that Suzuki would follow up this 125cc bike with a high performance 150-cc sibling sometime next year. And for the budget segment, another 100cc bike is expected in the first quarter of 2006. Mass market is the initial aim with plans to enter all the segments rapidly. They have their facilities located in Gurgaon and are in the process of beginning their commercial production of the 125cc bike soon.
Suzuki is planning to launch this bike by diwali, which is the auspicious time for buying a new vehicle in Indian families. Their setup in Gurgaon has the capabilities of manufacturing one lakh motorcycles and they are ready to step that up massively if the situation arises. They already have setup 40 dealerships around the country and are going to establish 4,000-5,000 sq.ft showroom and service stations to provide services to the customers.
The parent company happens to be one of the largest manufacturers of two wheelers in the world with more than 20 lakh bikes sold per annum. They are popular for their range of high performance road machines, lightweight super bikes, dirt bikes, street bikes, motocross and fun bikes globally.

2) WITH OUT ALLOY WHEELES, SELF START AND SINGLE COLOR MUST BE RS \- 44,500.
3) THE DISC BRAKES MUST BE COMPLYSARY IN ALL MODELS
IF YOU WILL LAUNCH THIS KIND OF BIKE AT THIS PRICE NO BODY CAN STOP YOUR BIKE BECAUSE TODAY YOUNGSTERS LIKE THIS KIND OF BIKE THEY DONT WORRY OF POWER AND CC THEY ONLY WORRY OF STYLE.

Why cant Suzuki launch it before diwali as there will be booking period for this 125 cc bike, people love to see a sporty look to the bike, and why cant suzuki launch 250 – 350 cc bike rather stick to 150cc, India is a booming TW industry, when the time is there to make money investor has to produce goods otherwise the craze for four-wheeler will swift all motorbike aside……

I strongly recommend suzuki to bring in their super bikes in india, i know lot of people who won’t even like to face a 100 – 200 cc bike. Suzuki making a big stupidity by entering this low level segment.

sir i m a final year engg. student want to own a bike of this type , as i m satisfies with my Sholin ,the bike i love most. i want a bike having sporty style of pulsar & a brave engine like suzuki fiero 150 (old),if u ll’ become able3 to manufacture a bike of this type no ll; bea you in this scenerio of competition .i m sure if u make a bike of this type wihtout bothering about fuel economy as well cost,because now every Indian learn to compromise with all this rather than styling & performence .if u ablr to do this ,u ll’ reach at top level of this sigment of 125cc/150cc

On 20th sept 2005 I saw an advertisment in the local newspaper Amar Ujala in which a local automobile dealer who is already a dealer for a Four wheeler brand had asked resumes for this suzuki dealership in AGRA for the post of general manager, store manager, workshop manager. i have been waiting for suzuki bikes for over 2 years i first heard that its new bikt modified version of shogun called shadow is being launched.finally the news is confirmed that its first 125 cc bike is being launched on diwali , diwali is almost there but still no adds or any news about the bike , are the bikes coming this month or not , u people have no courtesy to even mail back or let us know your indian origin website i would rather buy someother bike then just waiting for more time

hi.. very happy to know that suzuki is coming up singly.. a topic which i and my friends would cherish..whatever.. please be more clear about the bike,how long to wait still..if its late also its fine but come out with something new.. say remote start, centralised locking.. safety alarm against theft.. coming to the engine. lovely dimension to start with.. alloy wheels would not be my cup of tea.. concentrate more on your dome(head light with wizer). the modern trend is stylish head lamp. try to give appropriate fog lamps and drooping indicators.. indicators with white cover and orange light. its awesome..not mono shocks.. wrong idea i would suggest..slightly big looking petrol tank.. height not very much.. comparatively low.. high rise silencer.. single tail lamp but longer indicators widening the mud guard.. disc is not required as it is 125cc.. concentrate on design and colours.. all the best..

How does it matter whether SUZUKI-FUZUKI comes to India of any other international brand. I can say with a lot of “PRIDE” that there is no “ZING” left in my company. The most”NOVA”L idea is to become a “BOSS” in motorcycles in India. My company tried with a lot of “VELOCITY” but the “LAZER” guns of competition screwed my company badly. For sure our quality ‘KINETICALLY” “ZOOMED” down after March 2004. Today I remember the good dayz of “LUNA”r ecclipse when I used to bask under the sun during the great african “SAFARI” . Today I am a loss making company with my vendors, dealers and employees cursing me to hell. Shame on me. I am trying to siphon off money from Advertisement agencies in while getting leaflets caps and t-shirts printed, sqandering in press ads and filling my personal coffers while my company GOES DOWN THE DRAIN, I dont care , as , afterall its “DADDY-DA-PAISA” /……. Oh no its SHAREHOLDERS DA PAISA…. I am having my fun. OOOOOhh LLLLLaaaaaaa LLLLLaaaaaaaaa. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, suzuki bikes are coming to india i have been hearing this from years , the company was supposed to get the bikes on road by last diwali , i heard that they r all manufactured but they are waiting for governments approval. it would be sensible enough if the company takes some trouble and replies to people s queries and build a good relationship among all. mget hold of the media and talk about the company s plans and put the bikes photos on a website and advertise for the company . atleast people will have a little faith in the company and wait for the nikes and buy them if not no one would wait for the bike and go for all the other bikes in instead.

I have just driven the Zeus motorcycle at a new dealership opened in Malad, Mumbai.
It really is a superb, well put together motorcycle. I opted for a test ride and this was a real eye-opener.
The refined engine started off easily and soon I was away. The dashboard has a novel feature of 5 seperate lights which shine only when riding to show the particular gear you are in. It has a close ratio 5 speed gearbox and you can utilize all the 5 gears easily even in the city and get great acceleration or economy depending on how you drive.
If you pull longer in each gear; you get faboulous acceleration and if you change quickly to the higher gear, you will get better mileage.
The best part was the braking. Unbelieveable ! That is the word to describe it. The front disc is so beautiful to look at and so progressive in its feel that you would enjoy each ride. Compared to my existing drum brake bike, the disc action was quite a revelation.
The overall look of the bike is very proportionate and compact; not huge just for the sake of looks. In other words it has substance and proves that good things come in smaller packages.
Suzuki has indeed rewarded the patient buyer by preserving the best for the last.
My advice: GO AHEAD ! BUY. You should have no regrets.

I have bought the first suzuki zeus bike in Goa at the very first launch. I have clocked 1500 Kms completed the first service. What I observed is that the bike doesnot give me more than 60 Kpl and also the front disk brake is no more safe when in use. Imagine the wheel roates inspite of holding the front brake lever tight. I have always ridden in the economy zone. i guess the company should at once try to recitify the disk brake before one meets with a major accident.
