Motorola collaborates with Yahoo! for mobile services

World’s second largest mobile company Motorola has collaborated with search engine giant Yahoo! to provide enhanced services to the end user. Motorola has unveiled plans to start offering Yahoo’s online content and services on their upcoming mobile phones. This would include the facilities offered by the much-awaited Motorola’s iRadio product.

Motorola mobile users would now have easy access to the various Yahoo! services on their Linux powered mobile devices and other high-speed Internet products, including iRadio. iRadio would allow the users to play Internet radio channels and the user’s personal digital music collection and is expected to be released later this year.

Search Engine giant Yahoo! would now extend their reach beyond the computer screens as mobile users get friendly access to their services through Motorola phones. The company is the second largest maker of mobile phones in the market after Nokia and is increasing their market share comprehensively. These new generation products from Motorola are expected to come out in the market sometime next year.
