Apple and Motorola agrees to display Motorola iTunes Mobile Phone

It has been a long time since apple and Motorola announced their plans to integrate iTunes Music Store functionality in a mobile phone. The idea is to enable a user to buy and download music from a mobile, which can later be used to listen to it or download it on a computer. However, Motorola had certain issues with Apple when they tried displaying a prototype to the public a couple of months back. Apple do not like displaying prototypes of products which they are planning to offer while Motorola wanted to develop the interest in their upcoming mobile phone.

Both the companies have now seemed to make up their differences on the issue. And they are planning to raise the curtain on the much-anticipated iTunes phone. This phone is now scheduled to make its debut in UK sometime later this month. The venue would be the four-stage “V Festival” concert sponsored by Virgin Mobile U.K. And it would take place between Aug. 20-21.

Virgin would be the first company to bring this phone to the market to their consumers as per the reports in the media. However, the official word from the company is that their has been no confirmation from the developers on when they plan to launch the product in the retail market. Even Motorola has somewhat declined that the phone would be launched at the proposed venue. The official word from Motorola is that the phone would be launched before the end of the quarter.

Market experts believe that the V Festival would be the perfect venue for the launch as their would be a presence of around 57 bands which would suit the Apple’s marketing style. The phone is supposed to be called Motorola Rokr.
