Apple might have Video enabled iPod in store for us
Apple seems to have something big up its sleeves. Reports coming in claims that the company has is preparing a major announcement next week and they are hinting towards a major product launch which is being compared to the original launch of the Apple iPod a couple of years back. They have invited media reporters to a press meeting on Monday morning next week for this special event and the invitation reads: “1,000 songs in your pocket changed everything. Here we go again.”
Like it is with all their major announcements, nothing is confirmed by the company and the media is seeing rumors about all kinds of ideas floating around. The most popular suggestion is that the company has been planning to make their iPod video capable to let people watch movies on the go. The market does not have many players with this capability and if Apple does it the right way, they can revolutionize the concept of video on the move like they did with digital music players.
There are also reports that the company is also planning a new iPod variant and might shift their iPod Mini range to flash based memory storage from hard disk based media. They are also developing a mobile phone with Motorola, which would be able to interact with Apple iTunes digital music store letting users purchase and download songs from the Internet to their mobile phones.
Apple is well known for surprising even the most harshest of critics with their products. And we just might see another shocking extravaganza from the company this coming week! We at TechWhack would be keeping ourselves updated!
