		<description>This sounds like Symantec spreading FUD (Fear, uncertainity, and doubt).  It makes sense because its their business to try to sell their software and appeal to those using Firefox or Mac.

Truth is I use Linux and Firefox with no anti-virus software whatsoever and I have never had problems with viruses, spyware, etc.. like I did with Windows and IE while running anti-virus software. I think using anti-virus software gives a false sense of security.  

A major plus of Firefox is that it is not built into the OS like IE is with Windows, this is a huge security flaw.</description>
