Yamaha India launches WoS Yamaha Motor India Sales

The Indian subsidiary of the Yamaha Motors, Yamaha India has launched a wholly owned subsidiary (WoS) – Yamaha Motor India Sales. This unit would be watching the sales, marketing, and after-sales service fields for the company struggling to compete against the likes of Honda, Hero Honda, and Bajaj in the Indian market.

H Yanagi, CEO and managing director of Yamaha Motor India said in a statement on this event: “India is an important market for us, and we plan to consolidate our position here. The new company will enhance our business activity in the country.” The company has suffered ever since they had to discontinue their hugely popular RX100 model in this domestic market.

This new unit would start functioning from the beginning of the October month and would be headed by T Maeda, director (marketing) and Atul Gupta, head (sales and marketing). The company has currently products like Crux, City Cruiser, C5, and Fazer in the Indian market in the various segments.

    Hi Guys,

I am too big fan of Yamaha. I have always tried to push yamaha against all the bikes. RX 100 such a wonderful bike. Peoples expections are very high. But why Yamaha is not fulfeeling it. I hope Gladiator should fulfeel the peoples dream. It should be different than other bikes.

Hope Yamaha launches early. If they launch in April, it would be great but they launch in may or june, people will think about Rain. They won’t go for it.

Please yamaha launch it earliest we are waiting.

    Thanks

    Amol

Yamaha is going to launch gladiator with 125 cc power. Everyone who has seen the magnificent gladiator 150 cc is going to be thorougly disappointed with the fact that 150 cc will not be relased in India.
Gladiator 125 is going to be priced at around 48,000/-

yamaha is damagin its image n goodwill by launching average bikes, i own a yamaha rx 100 a unmatched bike n if yamaha want to win back its no. 1 place from the dirty bajajs n hero hondas it wll have to produce an unmatched bike but till now they have really dissapointed its fans n even gladiator type bikes will never bail it out, man they cant feel the pulse of the youth of india. i will always stick to my rx 100 which is still unmatched by any bike so wat if its average is very less atleast one can show off n win races against cbzs n pulsars

I like to give a suggestion here that everyone knows the standard of Yamaha, reliabilty and the Power of the Machine which no other bike cant do but the utimate thing is that they have to understand one thing about the Indians need i.e; Indians need Speed, looks, mileage, reliability and also the price should be resonable if they get that they are satisfied. So why dont YAMAHA work on this and build there sales.I want YAMAHA to do that and increase their sales in INDIA as they did with YAMAHA RX 100,135.

sir. i m true yamaha lover. i m not agree with ur sales policy.one who handle ur sales is not able person .who dont know what is the demands in india .so yamaha is not getting targets.u r always launching old modells always.yamaha is a brand.peoples in india have a heartly relations with yamaha.bcoz yamaha rx 100 is a bike which was leader of all bikes, but u dont have a good policy of promoting bikes, now mrket r very hard day by day i dont know u can achive ur target. this is my onlt compaint to u bcoz i love yamah.i have a good feeling with my first yamaha bike

Hi guys my name is Christopher i am from pune i own a RX100 an 88 model and an RXG touch wood till date no problems in the engine.I have read many bolgs and threads about YAMAHA’s promise to its valued RD and RX owners like supplying full spares and will be operated by the company itself god knows how much true this statement is.Recently i had to go to the wakdewadi showroom in pune for some spares like main stand etc but it was strange that these guys dont have a main stand can u just give a thought like a Company like YAMAHA is not having a center stand for its bike such a shame and disgrace. What the hell are u doing opening a big showroom when you do not have spare parts for your bikes its not only the stand but what ever spares i asked they did not have. Its better to ride a cyle atleast you can get its spares for another 50yrs but here investing an amt of Rs50,000 you have to park your bike in the varanda of your house SHIT!!!!!And another thing when i asked those guys like can u arrange it from the company the list of spares what i had they were blank as if i asked them something beyod this universe.I HOPE SOMEONE RESPONSIBLE IN THE COMPANY READS THIS MESSAGE OF MINE AND TAKES SOME ACTION FOR THE AVAILABILITY OF SPARES FOR THGEIR VALUED CUSTOMERS AS THEY HAVE SAID IN THEIR THREADS AND PRESS RELEASES AND SO ON!!!!!!!!!

    Dear Sir,
This is bring to you kind notice that I have purchased a Yamaha r15 from Chandigarh dealer M/S EMM PEE MOTORS CHANDIGARH. I have been quit disappointed with the service provided at their dealership. Sir I am facing some problems in bike from last six months. I had complaint for my problem to North ZONEl Service Head Mr. MUKESH GUPTA. He sends an engineer to Chandigarh many times for checking my bike problem but he is fail to solve the problems. Again i called up MR. Mukesh Gupta Now he sends REGIONAL SERVICE MANAGER MR.CHANDER PARKASH on 21 Aug 2009. He checked my bike and the head mechanic shows him all the problems also go for a road test. All problems are in front of him he was not accepting the truth. He told me theirs no problem in your bike but the head mechanic says theirs a problem then MR.PARKASH was said to head mechanic if you feel the problem then you solve it I am not feel their any problem. At present my bike is under warranty so sir I request to you please help me to find out any solution, I have a video recording against all this as a proof. Kindly look into the matter

I HOPE SOMEONE RESPONSIBLE IN THE COMPANY READS THIS MESSAGE OF MINE AND TAKES SOME ACTION

    Kind Regards
