World’s largest maker of mobile phones Nokia is continuing their assault in the Indian market as they have launched two more entry-level mobile phones. India is one of the fastest growing mobile markets in the world and the cheaper mobiles form a bulk of all the sales. As a result, the big mobile companies are seriously considering releasing more models in this bracket.
The two new mobile phones from the company are Nokia 1110 and Nokia 1600. Both are targeted at the entry-level consumer and are officially priced at Rs 3,869 and Rs 4,679 respectively. One of the interesting features that would entice the first time mobile users is the availability of local languages like Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, and Gujarati.
In addition to launching these mobile phones, the company also launched a new WCDMA base station to enable cell phone operators to make more efficient use of their base station sites. The product is called ‘Nokia Flexi WCDMA Base Station’ and it would allow technology evolution to multiradio networks, as its modules can also be fitted inside existing Nokia UltraSite EDGE Base Station cabinets.
They claim that this new product would help the mobile service providers cut costs by up to 70 per cent through reduced site construction work, quick base station installation and decreased power consumption. This would also help them deploy newer technologies like Wimax pretty fast as and when they are more accessible here in the Indian market.

I have got Nokia 1110 phone few months back and now i want to send ringtones(midi) in it.I have purchased Ca 45 cable with a cd.But i am not able to connect it with my pc.I have MObi mb 3.3ver & 3.37 ver.But i can ‘t create Com ports i think the usb driver is not running properly during installation.Please help me with all the steps and any extra software i need.Pls send the software.on smb7377@yahoo.co.in.Thanks
