Hyundai to launch an Ad Agency Innocean
South Korean automaker Hyundai is the second largest automobile manufacturer in the Indian market. And the company is now planning to launch its own advertising agency in India. The aim is to consolidate its advertising business. They plan to call it Innocean and it would commence operations next month.
Innocean would be based in the capital city Delhi and the company plans it to handle the entire creative duties of Hyundai, which comes to about Rs 50 crores. They are currently using the services of Cheil Communications and plan to continue working with them in the future as well.
In addition, Hyundai also has Saatchi & Saatchi working on the promotional activities for two of the company’s brands - Santro and Getz. The advertising agency would be headed by a Korean, Y.K.
