Americans are regular traders on the internet
E-Commerce is pretty popular in the United States, as one survey has recently discovered. In fact, a lot of people tend to use the internet for trading stuff online. As per a survey conducted by the Pew Internet and American Life Project, approximately, one in six U.S. Internet users have sold goods and services online.
And around 2% of all American web users do online trading on a daily basis. These web users use online services like Craigslist or online bidding and auction websites like eBay to conduct these transactions. The survey also figured that regular internet users are more likely to trust the online markets for trading rather than casual users of the internet.
Also, users with broadband connectivity are also more likely to conduct business transaction on the net compared to older methods of connecting to the web. Men are more likely than women to trust the internet to buy or sell a product. The Pew Internet and American Life Project conducted the research through a randomly conducted telephone-based survey of 1,577 adult Internet users conducted Sept. 14 to Oct. 13.
