Toyota offering innovative schemes for Innova customers

No matter how innovative the Toyota Innova is, the company is not selling enough cars in the Indian market. there are reports in the market claiming that the parent company in Japan wants the Indian unit to sell at least 4000 units of Toyota Innova every month and the company is falling short by around 1000 units a month. As a result, they have to resort to these special schemes to bring in new customers for Toyota Innova.

Toyota Kirloskar has now introduced a special finance scheme that offers 1 per cent interest rate on loans for its Innova customers. This offer is valid for just a period of 1 month and should invoke much needed interest in the market for this multi utility vehicle. Interestingly, the company had recently tried another scheme for this car when they had come out with a free petrol offer for all Innova buyers for a year.

The company has tied up with leading financial institutions to offer consumer finance schemes as part of its 2-lakh celebrations. Toyota Kirloskar recently surpassed domestic production and sales of two lakh Toyota vehicles in India. Toyota is now offering Innova customers three finance options of zero down payment or low interest rate of 1 per cent on a three-year loan period or lower EMI of Rs 11,999 on a five-year loan period.

These schemes are valid on the G1 & G2 Innova models for a period of one month. Toyota Kirloskar Deputy Managing Director, Mr K.K. Swamy said in a statement: “Many consumers desire Innova as it offers the comfort and luxury of a passenger car coupled with the space and utility of an MPV vehicle. Innova buyers who are constrained by high interest rates, down payments and EMIs can now avail themselves of these unique consumer finance schemes and upgrade to Innova.”
