Apple might launch Macs with Intel chips early
If the market had doubts on the capabilities of Apple Computers to launch their new Macs featuring Intel Processors, the company might have a surprise for them. Reports coming in claim that that the Macintosh maker might come out with their Intel power products as early as next month. This would be six months before their announced expected launch time for their Macintosh products powered by Intel processors.
Market experts believe that Steve Jobs is too smart to wait for so long and a launch is very likely expected to come before the current estimated date from the company. Roger Kay, president of researcher Endpoint Technologies Associates in Wayland, Massachusetts said in a statement: “Its signature Jobs to pull an effort like that forward by half a year.â€
Early introduction would help the company in increasing sales as many prospective new customers have delayed their decision to buy a Mac as they are waiting for the new generation Intel versions to appear in the market. Mac sales are already at a five-year high, propelled by interest in the company’s best-selling iPod music player.
