China controls Scum on the internet based in their land

China might be very unpopular for their controls over their citizens on what they can do and access on the internet. However, they have done some good deeds too. The authorities have closed 598 websites in a crackdown on pornography. The disappointing news is that the online gambling and fraud cases are on the increase.

The government in china encourages the people to use the internet for educational and research purposes. However, the freedom to express opinions and read the world’s opinions on their land is somewhat limited. Bloggers are told to register their Blogs with the government authorities and sites are banned limiting access to third party news to their citizens.

This latest crackdown to shut down the sites dealing in internet pornography and other illegal trades was launched in the month of March and led to 25 arrests. Wu Heping, a ministry spokesperson was quoted in the media saying: “Online obscene video chats, gambling and frauds have become serious crimes in recent years and are still rising.”

They also routinely torture people and execute people who speak out for human rights. Not even political activists but religious people too. What good people.
