Ferrari to showcase 599 GTB at the Geneva Motor Show
Ferrari plans to strike back into the super car segment with the launch of their next model 599 GTB at the Geneva Motor Show. The company announced this model at the ongoing Detroit Auto Show and the media went crazy over this announcement. Ferrari 599 GTB has been designed by Pininfarina and it is destined to be shown in public for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show on February 28.
Ferrari claimed that the 599 GTB would be the most powerful V12-engined production car of all time. It would be replacing the fabulous 575M Maranello. The result is a combination of Ferrari’s most innovative and technologically advanced engineering solutions and a mid-front engine two-seater coupe.
The model would be powered by a class-leading 5,999cc V12 adopted from the fantastic Enzo Ferrari super car. This engine produces a massive 620hp at 7,600 rpm for a weight/power ratio of just 2.6 kg per horsepower. The company has also applied the latest evolution in its tried and tested all-aluminum construction technology on this car.
