Nokia launches a consumer awareness program called ‘Connect’
World’s largest mobile phone manufacturer Nokia has started a new consumer awareness program called ‘Connect’. This program is aimed at educating their customers on the features and facilities available on their mobile phones. In addition, consumers would also be updated on the various facets of mobile technology.
The company plans to use this initiative to make it simple for consumers to use the different features and applications available on Nokia handsets. They would be informing the customers ways to use the advance features available on Nokia phones like SMS, MMS, Bluetooth and infrared, e-mail and GPRS, plus EDGE.
Nokia has plans to rollout “Connect” in nine Indian languages; including Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu, besides English. The company has found out in its research that despite making all these new features more accessible and usable, many customers are still clueless on how to make the most of their handsets.
