Google declines to justify their Chinese Policies

Search engine giants Google have refused to appear before a congress committee formed to look into the business practices followed by US companies in China, which goes against democratic freedom of the people.

Google was summoned for their recent decision to bow down to the policies of Chinese government and launch their localized search engine in the country which would give out censored results of the web pages available online.

The company has refused to send a speaker to the briefing organized by the Congressional Human Rights Caucus. They have also refused to comment on this denial in the media. They are not alone to deny appearing in this meeting as hardware companies like Microsoft and Cisco, which sells hardware equipments in the country, have also refused to appear.

The technologies supplied by these hardware makers enable the ISPs to block certain websites on the internet.
