Samsung to sue Asian mobile manufacturers

South Korea based tech giants Samsung has revealed that they are considering filing lawsuits against a couple of mobile phone makers based in Taiwan, mainland China and Hong Kong. They claim that these companies copied its products and breached its patents.

Samsung further says that these companies copy the designs and functions of Samsung mobile phones also go ahead and reveal secret company documents. The companies being targeted by Samsung are Tatung Corp., Sampo Corp., and DNET Inc along with Hitachi.

These lawsuits are expected to be filed starting this month and they are planning to demand public apology from the retailers and dealers who sold these phones in the market. However, the interesting point to note here is that Samsung itself has copied several popular models of Nokia and Motorola in the past couple of years.
