Apple launches Intel-iMac in Middle East
Apple Computers have launched their recently unveiled Intel microprocessor powered Macintosh computers in the middle east. The company has launched these new products after enjoying massive success in the North American and European markets.
The company recently announced their plans to change their base from IBM’s PowerPC architecture to Intel based microprocessors. These processors are supposed to be more powerful and more efficient. Elias Abou Rustom, general manager of Arab Business Machines (ABM), Apple’s Independent Marketing Company in the Middle East said in a statement on these new products: “The Middle East is evolving and so are we.â€
These new Apple Computers are powered by the Intel Centrino Duo processor range, which is the first from the company using 65-nanometre process. The circuitry is so small that it is possible to fit 100 inside a single human cell. This results in far higher levels of performance.
