Sony Ericsson to offer Google Blogger tools on their mobiles

Sony Ericsson has launched a couple of new mobile phones today. Two of these new phones are branded Cybershot, as the company believes that the cameras on these phones are good enough to warrant this famous Sony brand name.

However, the more interesting part of the news is that some of these new mobiles are also capable of Blogging on the internet! The company has announced their plans to link up with Google Inc. to incorporate the company’s Web search and Blog features into its mobile phones.

Sony Ericsson has said in a statement that users would be able to launch a separate Google Web search option using a single keystroke without the need to open a new Web page. Users in addition would be able to post blogs through a pre-loaded application linked to the Google-owned Blogger site.

Google’s European operations, vice president, Nikesh Arora spoke about their upcoming plans: “By providing users with direct access to features like mobile search and Blogging, we’re able to create a more personalized, user-friendly experience.”
