Google launches Google News Mobile for US customers
Google the expanding the scope for more of its services for their mobile customers. The search engine giant has announced that they are opening their Google News online service to the mobile customers in the United States.
For this, the company has developed a mobile phone compatible version of their Google News website. As a result, when a web user accesses the Google website using a mobile device, he is shown a customized Google News website optimized for the small screen device.
Users would also be able to search for news using keyword searching as they do using a regular computer connected to the internet. Google would be showcasing news from only those sources, which are optimized for the mobile platform on this mobile service.
This service would be free for the users and they would only have to pay what they do to their mobile service provider for accessing internet on their mobile devices. Google has already launched Gmail Mobile, Google Local Mobile and custom homepage services for their mobile users.
