La la Media allows you to buy legal music for cheap
Apple iTunes sell songs at around a dollar a song. What if you get to own a complete music album for the same price legally? There is now an option. However, you might not be able to find the latest albums considering the service being offered by La La Media is for second hand Audio CDs.
The company aims to offer full-length CDs for $1 by letting users trade discs. This helps the users to get legal music for cheap. The service works like an online music co-op by enabling members to trade physical CDs they own for physical CDs they want.
The site has around 1.8 million album titles available at the moment and allows the members of the service to trade the CDs in prepaid envelopes. La la founders believe that they are unlikely to face any legal hassles considering this service is protected under an exception to the U.S. Copyright Act.
The owner of a CD can transfer a legally-acquired copy without permission or payment of additional royalties to another individual and this is what this service is offering to the people.
